The Matrix: Set Of Three Hand-Drawn Lois Dearmond's Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) Costume Design Sketches
Entry/Object ID
OPPS105
Description
A set of three design sketches for Trinity's (Carrie-Anne Moss) costumes hand-drawn by Emmy Award®-winning costume illustrator Lois DeArmond during pre-production on the Wachowskis' The Matrix. In the film, Trinity switched from the fantastical leather costumes she wore inside the Matrix to more realistically combat-appropriate civilian wear when she returned to the Nebuchadnezzar.
This lot consists of three hand-rendered designs in graphite on drawing paper featuring Trinity in different costumes. Each one features "Trinity" hand-written alongside the date "97" and signed by DeArmond. It is stapled in all four corners and exhibits yellowing and warping from handling and age. Dimensions: (each) 35.75 cm x 43.25 cm (14" x 17")
