Description

Achilles' (Brad Pitt) stunt sword from Wolfgang Petersen's Troy. Legendary warrior and demigod Achilles joined King Agamemnon (Brian Cox) on his siege against Troy. After his cousin Patroclus (Garrett Hedlund) was slain by Hector (Eric Bana), Achilles challenged the crown prince to a fight to the death. Achilles wielded his sword against Hector in one of the greatest battles of all time, and a standout scene in the film, that ended with Hector's demise. Made of hard rubber with metal armatures for strength and rigidity, the uniquely shaped blade of the sword has thin runnels leading to the guard and an ornate grip. The entire sword has been crafted to resemble worked bronze with a dark paint finish to match. The sword exhibits some minor wear to the blade and a slight bend in the tip. Dimensions: 72 cm x 9 cm x 4.5 cm (28.25" x 3.5" x 1.75")
