John O'Neil (on Horseback) and Ned Brown, Mono Indian, are shown here at 77 Coral (now known as Corral Meadow) with a herd of sheep. Ned worked as a Sheep Herder for John O'Neil and during the spring and summer months, would have their sheep graze in the high country of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
