Left to Right: Tom Roan on Stumbler, Harry Jones on Danger, Tom Lewis on Whitey, Sam Pomona on Blackey and Jimmy Jones on a wild mare. Winning Potato Race Team at the 1920 Yosemite Indian Field Days. Cowboys, while riding their horse, would have to spear a potato with the end of their stick and try to put it in a barrel, which was located at the opposite end of the field of play, while keeping an opposing team member from knocking the potato off his stick.
