701Description
Nathaniel was born in San Bernardino, California and met Rita Gonzales while picking cotton in Corcoran, California during the Cotton Strike in the mid 1930's. Nathaniel and Rita were married until Nathaniel's death in 1971. Nathaniel was quite the writer and the back of the photo reads "God gave me a constitution to cope and blend with my surroundings very much the same as any other animal. A rugged, powerful smooth body with double quick reflexes and a mental keenness of observation for self-preservation. A lonely, rugged coast serves as my private bathing beach, complete with no trespassers."Photograph Details
