Susan Georgely was a Chukchansi Yokuts who would have been considered a Master Basket Weaver in her tribe. Her husband, Francisco, or Frank, was a Miwok Leader and employed by the National Park Service. The Georgely's had a Camp in Yosemite National Park and Susan made baskets to sell there (Grace Nicholson Photographic Collection, The Huntington Library).
