Nancy Wyatt, shown here in 1922, was a Miwok/Chukchansi indian and who lived her life on the Picayune Rancheria in Madera County. Nancy and her husband MIke were Chukchansi Yokuts informants for Anna Gayton's anthropological studies in the 1930's. Nancy also was an informant for Sydney Lamb's Chukchansi Yokuts Language Recordings which are included in the California Language Archive.Photograph Details
