Context

Golda's Balcony is a play by William Gibson, released in 2003, which follows the life and career of Golda Meir from her humble roots as a Russian immigrant to the United States to the fourth Prime Minister of Israel. Most of the play centers on the time surrounding the 1973 Yom Kippur War, when Israel was attacked by Egypt and Syria in the Golan Heights and Sinai regions.
