Description

Horseshoe with pad underneath made of belting- this shoe would be used to protect an injured frog on the horse's foot while it was healing. 'frog' - a sort of tender horn that grows in the middle of the sole of a horse's foot at some distance from the toe, dividing into 2 branches and running toward the heel in the form of a fork.
