Maker: White S.M.C.U., Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. This sewing machine, hand operated, was brought to Manitoba in 1921 by Miss E.F. Heyhoe, and she used it as late as 1935. It had been given to her by her aunt in England who used it for 35 years. It is not known from whom this aunt got it. Donated to this museum in June 1958, by Mr. Heyhoe, a brother of the owner.Collection
