Maker: W. Doherty & Co. - Clinton, Ont., Canada History: This organ was bought in 1952 by Geo. Currie when he had a second-hand store at Firdale, Manitoba, at the request of Bobby Edwards (a nephew of Lloyd Tennis, the first curator of the Manitoba Agricultural Museum). Bobby at this time was serving in the U.S. Air Force in Korea. The organ sat in the farm house belonging to Lloyd Tennis until 1958, when it was brought to the museum, as Boby had decided he would not be able to take it to Oklahoma. Originally, it had belonged to family who lived south or southeast of Austin.Collection
