Three piece period gown consisting of [C474-A] a dark blue silk faille two-tier caplet with wired stand up collar, hook and eye closure, ornamented at edges with blue and white cord in a scrolling pattern and dotted with small flat white pearl beads (Inscribed twice on inside "MPCC"]; [C474B] matching full skirt with blue and white cord in a scrolling pattern at hems and ornamented with small flat back pearl beads on small cord wrapped circles (Paramount label inscribed "#1 Joan Caufield" (sic); [C474-C] matching blue faille belt that hook and eyes at back (inscribed on back "MPCC"[Motion Picture Costume Company]; [C474E] a ecru net long-sleeve blouse to be used as a prop blouse (originally from "Buela Land”). [C474F] Prop cotton ruffled small bustle pad (stamped "Fiddler's Costumes") and [C474G] prop petticoat included for display.

SKIRT: Some Fraying at hemline, spot on fabric at PR back rear, ,waist band slit to PL back side at label area; Waist Sash- Fabric at back splitting and covered with net, two rows of small holes at PL side of back closure, slight balding at front bottom point. Caplet- some discoloration, repair at PL under arm. BLOUSE- Prop blouse- not original to costume but used in TV mini-series "Buela Land". Because of blouse sleeves should have arms. PETTI-COATS??????
