Marin Museum of Bicycling

At Marin Museum of Bicycling in Fairfax, California, we illuminate and celebrate cycling's past, present and future. Visitors see 150+ years of bicycle evolution, and the social change cycling generated. We're also home to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, with a world-renowned display of mountain bikes from the roots up. Our library includes books and periodicals on technical and social history, bike racing, touring, advocacy and more. We are all-volunteer, and offer custom tours tuned to visitor interests. The bicycle is the most efficient form of human transport ever devised, and we work to promote understanding and appreciation of cycling's rich history and capabilities.
