-incised 5-point star and diamond motif on upper handle area, between two nodes
-incised star on lower section, below node
-incised cross hatch triangles on outer edges: both sides on upper area above first node, one side between two nodes; looks like more was begun below the last node, but not finished
-designs on exterior bamboo
-splatter of yellow/orange paint(?) on center exterior (the same is visible on wood knife (1973.112.001))
-lower end is narrower and blunt from use
-evidence of use as digging tool is seen on blunt tipCollection
