This folder contains five items.
1. Brochure titled 'World Travel' (1930s) - contains information on services, ships, facilities, destinations and menus. Cover has striking color illustration. Interior printed in two colors with many illustrations and black-and-white photgraphs.
2. Brochure titled 'B.I. presents Sangola, Sirdhana, Santhia' (late 1940s) - contains information on the soon-to-be-completed ships. Black-and-white photgraphs of lounges and cabins and the S.S. Sangola.
3. Brochure titled 'B.I. presents the New Kampala and Karanja' (ca. 1947) - contains photographs of the soon-to-be-completed Kampala and Karanja. Black and white photographs, two-color printing.
4. Brochure titled 'B.I. to East Africa' (1950) - contains details of B.I.'s services to East Africa (fares, cabin photgraphs, etc.) as well as information on the two new liners which would soon be in service on that route - the Kenya and the Uganda.
5. Brochure titled 'B.I. presents Sangola and Santhia' (1957) - contains information on B.I.'s Calcutta-Far East service. Black-and-white photographs of the Sangola and Santhia, as well as cabins, facilities, etc.Collection
