Mr. Philip Busalacchi's interview is a very interesting interview from a man who was in his prime during WWI and was a Italian immigrant who entered into the country through Ellis Island. He continued to fish in the simple fashion from the old country, and lost his only fishing mate, his nephew who died in WWII. His interview highlights the contrast between the type of fish that were once caught near the shores of San Diego and Catalina, and the fact that fisherman can not easily catch fish near the coast today because of the depletion of fish in our oceans. His interview, however is very hard to understand.Collection
