Scope and Content

This folder consists of two items: 1. M.S. Sea Venture the New Luxury Cruise Ship to Bermuda 20,000 Tons Built 1971: color, single-page folded brochure dated Spring thru Fall 1971. Brochure reatures rates, sailing dates, itineraries, deck plans etc. for the M.S. Sea Venture. Color illustrations depict onboard activities and amenities. Passengers depicted are "fashion-forward" for their time. Centerfold features aerial perspective illustration of the ship underway. 2. M.S. Sea Venture New York/ Bermuda, Caribbean and World Cruises: Single-page bicolor folded booklet dated April 1970. Specificed as "a Souvenir Edition for the Travel Industry". Cover features the Line's s-shaped sea-dragon icon. Ship's plans and deck plans for the M.S. Sea Venture. Ship was completed in early 1971.
