Scope and Content

This series consists of one folder: The Georgian Bay Line, or the Chicago, Duluth and Georgian Bay Transit Co., was a line which operated in and around the US Great Lakes from 1913 to 1967. Initially, passengers used the line's service as a means of point-to-point transit, but as other forms of transportation became more readily availible, this usage decreased, and the line began to offer seasonal, extended-length recreational cruises.
