Scope and Content

This series consists of three folders: The German Atlantic Line was established in 1958 as the Hamburg Atlantic Line. Initially, the line offered transatlantic sailings, but the line transisitioned to offering solely, recreational Carribean and European Cruises from 1969-1973. The line was bankrupted by the German Oil Crisis of 1973.
