Scope and Content

This magazine of the Holland American Around the World Cruise (1981) features an intense amount of information regarding the 90 day, 19 country, 22 port adventure. This cruise is a celebratory 23rd anniversary of the cruise-line. It is no surprise that this cruise was extremely expensive, and would require one to get out of work for three months, something that not everyone can do. So it is safe to say that this was primarily targeted toward a more upper-class audience, who had such time and resources. In this section there is also a letter from the Holland American Travel Consultant cruise to a prospective traveler, detailing some features of the cruise such as the duration.
