This folder consists of three items:
1.For an Unforgettable Vacation- Summer-Fall Cruises of the New, Completely Air-Conditioned Maasdam: Single, folded bicolor page brochure dated March 1953. Provides deck plans, port information, itineraries, sailing dates and rates of fare for 5 day Bermudan and 13 daty South American/West Indies cruises aboard the Maasdam for the Summer and Fall 1953 cruising season. Many black and white photos of accommodations, ammennities and passengers engaged in shipboard activities.
2.Romantic 14-Day West Indies Labor Day Cruise aboard the Charming Transatlantic Liner Maasdam: Multi-page stapled and folded bicolor brochure dated 1961. Provides dates of sailing, itineraries, rates of fare and general information for cruise aboard the Maasdam. Photos featured are the same as those in item #1 of this folder, (nearly a decade later.)
3.Inagural Cruise Program, the Brand-New SS Maasdam to South America and the West Indies, Season 1952-1953: Single, folded page tricolor brochure dated Oct. 1952. Provides sailing dates, itineraries, port info, rates of fare and general information for four different, 13-14 day, inaugural "bonanza cruises" to West Indian ports in the winter 1952-1953 season. Same photos as previous two items of this folder used.Collection
