Description

Kit Bag. Leather, 20" black leather on metal frame. Leather label "Sing Yu & Co. Leather Goods Factory, Ch---00, N. China.has locking mechanism, but no key. Leather strap holders, but no straps. Two inside pockets, a souvenir label on side from 1940 San Francisco Golden Gate Exposition. Donor's name on label. Bought used by Donor in 1937 in S.F. - Age unknow, but similar bags were in usee in 1906. Brought to museum by Rollie Meyers.
