Lake Rotorua, New Zealand
St Faiths Anglican Church was built in 1885 in Ohinemutu, and was the first church built in the Rotorua region of New Zealand. The old church was moved in 1910 and a new one was built in its place. In 1936, after a severe gale, the old church collapsed and the pieces were removed. This church in the photo is the old church which no longer stands, however the new church built in 1910 still sits in the spot where it was built.
Ohinemutu is a suburb in Rotorua, New Zealand. It still has a living Maori village and is the original settlement of Rotorua. The population of Ohinemutu is under 300.
