This folder consists of thirteen items:
1.Room Plan, SS Matsonia to and from Hawaii: Multi-page stapled, bicolor brochure. Undated, ca. 1960. Deck plans for the SS Matsonia, featuring small photos of ship's interiors and shipboard activities.
2. Post Card: Small postcard. Undated, ca. 1950s. Addressed to Berle Spurlock, Laffey Ct. San Diego. Unmarked, except for small, hand-written words "SS Matsonia"
3. New! Glamorous! SS Matsonia Joins the World-Famous SS Lurline, Doubling the Sailings to Hawaii: Single, folded, color page. Brochure, dated 1956. Announces that the SS Matsonia has been renovated and will be joining the SS Lurline in sailing the California-Hawaii route. Features many small, and large color illustrations of ship's interiors.
4. Room Plan, Issued April 15, 1946, SS Matsonia: Single, folded, chart-sized page, dated 1946. Deckplans for the SS Matsonia
5. Passenger List: Multi-page, stapled booklet, dated Friday, July 17, 1959. Passenger list for cruise aboard SS Matsonia sailing from Los Angeles Harbor to Honolulu on Friday, July 17, 1959. Pages featuring letters "D" to "R" are missing. Perhaps Mr. Kingsbury was on this cruise and removed the page(s) featuring his name as a memento.
6. "The Polynesian": Single, folded page. Undated, but corresponds to July 17th, 1959 first day at sea for cruise from LA to Honolulu. Onboard "newspaper" for the SS Matsonia.
