"The master modeler in Alicante, who built the model under a commission from me, was Julián Fernández de Sevilla. The historical research was based on the Warwick Roll, which purports to illustrate the ship of Richard Beauchamp,13th Earl of Warwick. My proposition is that it is based on a ship contemporary with the author of the Roll, John Rous, and therefore may represent the ship of Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick and Captain of Calais in the 1460’s."Collection
