This folder consists of five items: 1. Northlands Spring Cruise to Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Scotland, England, Ireland- 33 Days, 14 Ports, 8 Countries, 7 Capitals- From New York May 14, when Spring is at Her Clear, Sunny Best, on the New Moore-McCormack Luxury Cruise Liner SS Brasil: Single, chart-sized folded page. Color, dated 1959. Provides information about a 33 day "Northlands" cruise aboard the SS Brasil. Centerfold features deckplans for the vessel 2. "Brasil Makes Northlands Hit": Single, black and white, page torn from the Summer 1959 MooreMack News Magazine. Features black and white photos of ship coming into port in various northern locales in Scandinavia and the British Isles 3. The MooreMack News, Autumn 1958: Multi-page stapled booklet, dated 1958. Features corporation news for Moore-McCormack Co. Numerous black and white photos depict ports travelled to, photos of crew, corporate administrators, vessels, etc. Special articles cover the maiden voyage of the SS Brasil. 4. South America, Africa, Mediterranean 61 Days, 5 Seas, 4 Continents, 19 Ports, From New York, March 24, SS Brasil: Single, folded page, color booklet dated Oct. 1959. Booklet provides deckplans for the SS Brasil and features small color photos from ports of call for a 61 day cruise aboard the SS Brasil in the 1959 Spring cruise season. Rates of fare, itinerary and general information provided. 5. New SS Brasil Arrives in New York: Single, folded poster-sized newsprint page. Undated, ca. 1959. Features photo of SS Brasil underway, steaming into the Port of New York. Small photos of Captain, accommodations and common-rooms featured. Text refers potential passengers to their travel agents for information about the vessel's maiden voyage.
