Scope and Content

This series consists of one folder: The Norwegian American Cruises Co. was a pleasure-cruising enterprise co-operated by the Norwegian American Line and the Deutsche Afrika Line. The Norwegian American Cruises Co. offered world-tour cruises, while its co-owners offered mostly transatlantic sailings. The company ceased to exist as of the late 1980s, although several of its vessels are still in operation, (as of 2011) as ro/ro vessels.
