Scope and Content

This folder consists of two items: 1. "Motor Passenger Ship Asama Maru/ Motor Passenger Ship Tatsuta Maru": Single, large chart-sized page. Undated, ca. early 1920s. Tricolor cover and decoration. Features a pictorial overview of the cruising experience, general cruising information and a map of routes traveled. Cover features print of cranes. 2. "Deck Plan, Chichibu Maru De Luxe Passenger Motor Liner": Single, tricolor chart-sized page, dated Oct. 1932. Deck plans for the vessel MS Chichibu Maru. Features photos of ship's accommodations and amenities, and an interesting photo-like illustration of the ship's deck plans, in cutaway style.
