-pounder, grinder- likely for taro and other roots -old label reads "Hiva D.(?)L." "Ua- Huka" "1932" -from Ua Huka, Marquesas -basalt, circular in form with convex base, rounded top handle with slight cross incision on top (very similar to poi pounders in Hawaiian Islands)
