Scope and Content

This folder consists of six items: 1. Princess Cruises to Mexico, Canada, Alaska, Caribbean, South America, Party Cruises, Schedules... Fares 1973: Multi-page, stapled color booklet, dated 1973. Provides sailing dates, itineraries, deck plans, rates of fare and general information for the Princess fleet for the 1973 season. Cover features photos depicting the vessels Princess Italia and Island Princess underway. 2. Mr. K's Alaska '69 Canada, San Francisco, Princess Italia Cruise-Tours: Multi-page, stapled and folded, color booklet. Dated 1969. Provides sailing dates, itineraries, rates of fare, port-information and general information about Alaska Cruises aboard the Princess Italia. "Mr. K" appears to have been the cruise-tour's emcee or recreation director. Photos mainly depict points of interest at ports of call. 3. Princess Cruises: Single folded piece of cardstock enclosing a folded piece of printed vellum. Dated 1967. Programme for an event hosted by 20th Century Fox, (the movie premier of "Valley of the Dolls") on Dec. 14, 1967, aboard the Princess Italia. 4. Aboard the Princess Italia, Proud Flagship of Princess Cruises: Single, folded, color page. Dated 1970. Deck plans for the vessel Princess Italia, along with rates of fare, sailing dates and itineraries for cruises during the 1970 cruise season. 5. Travel Agents Ready Reference Princess Cruises Schedules 1969, Princess Italia, Princess Carla: Single, folded piece of cardstock. Listing of sailing dates for the fleet, with minimum fare examples. 6. Princess Cruises 1974 Mexico, Hawaii, Caribbean, South America, Canada, Alaska: Multi-page, stapled color booklet, dated Aug. 1974. Provides itineraries, sailing dates, rates of fare, general information and deck plans for cruises/ships, for the 1974 season. Features photos of shipboard activities and ports of call. Cover features the Island Princess, ("The Love Boat") underway.
