This folder contains twelve items.
1. Brochure titled 'Queen Elizabeth 2 - Caribbean Cruises November 1971/March 1972' (1971) - extensive copy. Illustrated with small black-and-white photographs and line drawings. Folds out to show a deck plan, a list of fares, a list of itineraries and a table of facts related to the QE2.
2. Large format, bound brochure titled 'Queen Elizabeth 2 - The 1980 World Cruise - Special Tenth Anniversary Celebration' (1979) - 40-page brochure showcasing the QE2 and the ports-of-call scheduled for the 1980 world cruise. Extensive copy, many color photographs. Includes a deck plan, lists of general information, fare schedules and booking information, etc.
3. Large format, bound brochure titled 'Queen Elizabeth 2 Shore Excursions - 1980 World Cruise Special 10th Anniversary Celebration' (1979) - companion publication to item 2. Contains descriptions of 154 different shore excursions available to passengers. Many photographs.
4. Brochure titled 'How to See Europe and Have a Vacation, Too - Europe 71' (1971) - advertises six different itineraries, each involving the QE2. Contains many color photographs and extensive copy.
5. Brochure titled 'Queen Elizabeth 2 - Exotic Two, Three and Four-Week Holidays in and Around the World' (1979) - essentiallya condensed version of item 2. Color photography.
6. Brochure titled 'QE2 Winter Cruises Caribbean 1969/1970' (1969) - describes a winter cruise in the Caribbean. Color photographs, interesting copy.
7. Brochure titled 'Queen Elizabeth 2 and Europe '83' (1982) - advertises "seven ways to include QE2 in your European vacation", through the use of aeroplanes and land transport. Extensive information on life aboard the QE2, excursions, tours, general information for passengers, etc. Many color photographs.
8. Handbook titled 'The new Cunard Queen Elizabeth 2 - Press Guide' (1968) - voluminous detail on every aspect of the design, construction, fitout and operation of the QE2. Some inserts missing, but an illustrated accomodation plan remains.
9. Photocopied deck plans for the QE2 from the January 1969 issue of Shipping World and Shipbuider. Contained in cardboard file marked with 'RMS QE-2', handwritten in black ink.
10 Collection of miscellaneous clippings related to the QE2. Includes photographs of machinery, deck plans, silhouettes, advertisements from suppliers, advertisements from Cunard, etc.
11. Two-page fact sheet titled 'Facts about QE2'. Printed on blue paper.
