Brown box with a serial number 15616. Made in Milwaukee by the David White Company. Box has numerous scratches with hooks to keep lid secured. 'Certificate of Eccentricity' slip inside on the lid, specifying that it was certified by the U.S. Naval Observatory. Four components inside as listed:
1. Arc scle and components: complete condition, securely placed in box frame.Object 8" by 6".
2. Telescope: black telescope securely in box location protected in some areas by green felt to prevent from scratching. 8" by 1"
3. Index mirrors: two of these, made of glass. One chipped. Both secured in box location.
4. Stopwatch in leather satchel: yachting timer gallet of chrome and stainless steel
5. Key: skeleton key that fits to box with biege string.Collection
