This folder contains ten items. The accomodation plan dated May 1929 refers to the first Caronia (launched in 1905, sold to Japanese concern in 1932). Remaining items refer to the second Caronia (launched 1949, sold to Panamaian concern 1968).
1. Brochure titled 'Plan of Tourist Third Cabin Accomodations' (1929)
2. Brochure titled 'R.M.S. Caronia Round-the-world Cruise' (1950) - describes a round-the-world cruise aboard the Caronia scheduled fro 1951. Contains interior photographs, a schedule of fares, a deck plan, a short contract for passengers and some copy.
3. Deck plan for R.M.S. Caronia (ca. 1950) - combination brochure and deck plan. Originally a large folded sheet, this item has been cut into sections. The sections have been stapled together to form a rough booklet. Reconstruction is possible.
4. Small brochure titled 'North Cape Cruise to the Land of the Midnight Sun' (1951) - advertises a Scandanavian cruise. Includes a map and itinerary, some illustrations and a number of photographs.
5. Large brochure titled 'Caronia - Great Africa-India Cruise' (1951) - advertises a cruise to Africa and India for 1952. Folds out to show extensive copy accompnaied by color photographs, chiefly illustrating the exterior of the ship. Folds out again to show a map and itinerary, and again to show a deck plan.

8. Large booklet titled 'The Great World Cruise of 1957' (1956) - contains extensive copy and many photographs related to all aspects of a world cruise - details of ports-of-call, tables of fares, itineraries, details of sightseeing trips, advice on how to pack and what to bring, etc. Some color photographs, mainly black-and-white.

10. Brochure titled 'R.M.S. Caronia - PLan of Cabin Class Accomodations' (1959) - illustrates cabin class accomodation using line drawings and a number of black-and-white photographs.Collection
