1 newspaper (3 pages), includes an entry on page 1, under the headline Cambria Rescues Victims of Sub: Tanker 'Montebello' is sunk by Jap Sub: includes a description of a Japanese submarine that surfaced a few miles from Estero Bay, California and fired torpedoes at the Richfield Tanker Doheny and the Union Tanker Montebello, disabling the Doheny and sinking the Montebello on December 25, 1941. The newspaper was donated to the museum by one of the Montebello survivors Edgar F. Smith.
