Scope and Content

Official blank Alaska Packer Association Track Chart map of the coastal area from Alaska to San Diego and stamped with vessel name Star of India. The map was used to track the sailing route of Alaska Packer vessels traveling from San Francisco to the Bering Sea, probably dating from 1900 to 1925. The Star of India sailed this route from 1902 to 1923.
