Color postcard of the starboard side of the USS picking (DD-685) underway off Long Beach harbor on a slow bell, flying colors at gaff on main mast, call signs pennants on starboard yard arm, crew in blue uniforms, launched June 1, 1943, earned five battle stars for WWII, one for Korean War, struck March 1, 1975, sunk as target vessel February 27, 1997.
