Scope and Content

This folder consists of eight items: 1. Alaska 1970, Inside Passage Cruises: Multi-page stapled and folded color booklet. Dated 1969. Profiles several cruise/tour offerings, providing sailing dates, itineraries, port information, deck plans and general information for Inside Passage Alaskan cruise/tours with Westours. Features color photos of vessel amenities and accommodations and points of interest at ports of call. 2. Caribbean Air/Sea Cruises, 1969/70: Single, folded color page, dated Dec. 1969. Provides port information, itineraries and sailing/flight dates for tours of the Caribean for the 1969-70 season. 3. "Fiesta Siesta" Mexico Cruises, 1970-1971, MS Orpheus 11 day Cruises from Los Angeles and San Diego: Single, folded color page. Dated 1970. Provides sailing dates, itinerary, port information and general information for cruises aboard the MS Orpheus. 4. Alaska, 1969, Via Sea, Air and Bus: Multi-page stapled booklet. Color. Dated 1968. Profiles several cruise/air tour offerings. Includes port information, itineraries, sailing dates, rates of fare and general information for Alaskan Cruise tours for the 1969 season. Photos depict points of interest at ports of call. Cover features photo of totems. 5. Tahiti Seaventure: Bicolor binder. Dated 1970. Press-release kit for travel agents announcing the launch of Tahitian "seaventure" air/cruise program aboard the vessel DES Pacific Star. Contains two photographs, (one depicting Tahitian natives, the other depicting the vessels underway, ) deck plans, statistic sheet, route-map etc. 6. West Line's MV West Star, South Pacific Air/Sea Cruises 1971-'72: Multi-page stapled color brochure. Dated 1971. Provides port information for South Pacific air/sea cruise tours. Photos depict shipboard life and things of interest at ports of call. 7. Tahiti Seaventure is More Than a Cruise: Multi-page stapled booklet. Dated 1972, color. Profiles cruise-tours to Tahitian and Polynesian ports in the 1972 season. Photos depict things of interest at ports of call. Provides itineraries, sailing dates and general information. 8. UTA French Airlines, Serving Five Continents: Single, folded color page. Undated, ca. 1970s. Overview of UTA French Airlines' involvement in Westours air/sea tours.
