Description

Ceramic apothecary jar with a long narrow neck widening towards the top, bulbous body narrowing to the junction with a wide foot; the body is painted with blue grape bunches and vine design and the Latin text, "Sy: Cdrti t Cedric e P.v." [syrup of cedar, per vaginam], in black in a rectangle outlined in gold amid the grape design; neck and foot are painted with blue geometric designs.
