Visiting Artist Kwon Yeo Hyun from Kookmin University in Seoul is UC Santa Cruz Art Department's Artist-in-Residence 2013-2014. His work will be on exhibition in the Porter Faculty Gallery February 5-March 15, 2014. Kwon Yeo Hyun is a professor of art at the Kookmin University in Seoul, Korea where he is teaching painting and installation. Professor Kwon has an MFA from Seoul National University and is highly acclaimed Korean artist whose work has been exhibited internationally in 32 solo exhibitions and more than 350 group exhibitions. He works in a great variety of formats, including painting, drawings, photography, film, installation, and preformance.
