2 of 2 DVDs. 31 photos. This DVD titled Mattapoisett 1938 Sep 23, 24. From an email from Helen Hills: "The pix are mostly of Pico Beach before, immediately after, and a couple of months after the hurricane and center around the home owned by the Lorraines. The family still has a beach house there. The first, built in the early 1900s, washed away in 1938. That was rebuilt and washed away in 1954. The present one is on stilts and has survived Hurricane Bob and many winter storms."
