Captain George Fred Tilton's Tablet Dedication at the Seamen's Bethel Jonny Cake Hill, July 16,1933. This is the story of Tilton's Walk and Whaling Tradition. There are pictures of the tablet and Captain Tilton who in 1897 walked 3000 miles through an Alaskan winter to save the lives of 200 men on four whaleships caught in Arctic Ice. This booklet includes all the names of the contributors to the tablet fund.
