He married Sarah Sherbourne, eldest daughter of Henry Sherburne 2nd. Second document copied from the Wentworth Genealogy listing Henry Sherburne, 2nd, and the offices he held and stating that he had ten sons and six daughters and seven of them reached the age of 87 years.
