Hand-colored postcard showing a view of Queenstown (Cobh), Ireland. The content of the handwritten note states it is a view of the location of "US Navy Base Hospital #4, Base #6, European Waters". Note states: "Dear Jennie, This is a good view of the town where we are stationed. We are near ready to open our Hospital and after that shall be pretty busy as there is ample need for such an institution amoung our men here. Few in America realize the importance of this Base. Love to your mother and all the family, Sincerely, Roland Harimann."
