Merry Christmas, from Hattie to Dad, Dec.25th, 1909, Barrows.
Diary of daily events, accounts, and addresses taking place in 352 W-46th St., N.Y. City and Mattapoisett. Inserted in the diary is a newspaper article from October 3, 1910 describing a meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, WCTU, at the home of Mrs. B. F. Shaw. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Barrows and their daughter, Mrs. Dunseith (Hattie Barrows), were guests, and Mr. Barrows assured the ladies that he was a total abstainer.
Henry Barrows died on December 25, 1910, from pneumonia. The last journal entry is from December 16, 1910.Collection
