Black and white postcard showing The Crown and Three Sugar loaves, the sign of the famous Tea House in Fen Church Street founded in 1650. This historic House shipped to America the tea which being sunk in Boston Harbor gave rise to the war of American Independence. Handwritten note to Mrs. George Purrington, Jr., Mattapoisett, Mass. U.S.A. Postmarked from West Kensington, on June 25, 1906 and Postmarked received Mattapoisett, Mass, July 6, 1906. Stamped Due 4 Cents, July 5, 1906.
