"Pocket Diary 1872 published for the Trade" of E. Hammond. 1872. Contains hand written notes on weather, daily tasks/work, other miscellaneous. Contains only written record of Grace Howland Stevens birth May 28, 1872 as official records burnt in a Town Hall fire. Brown stiff cover (fabric?) which has a flap to fasten it closed. Front page printed with zodiac signs, year calendar on another page, distances and times by Rail Road from New York to the following places:on another page.
