Description

Red, green, and natural figured tied half doublecloth center medallion coverlet with fringe on three sides. Woven for W. F. McIntyre, First Clerk on the Golden City Steamer. The Golden City was a steamship that caught fire at Memphis, TN on March 30, 1882 at 4:30AM. 35 individuals died in its sinking. W. F.
