Johann(es) "John" Heilbronn (1815–1887) was born in Alsace, France (part of Germany at the time). He arrived in New York on 11 June 1833 and married Phoebe Weaver on Jan 9, 1840, in Fairfield Co., Ohio. John and Phebe Heilbronn sold the South half of lots 119 and 120 in the Village of Adelphia, Ohio according to the deed dated May 16, 1842 and filed for record November 10, 1842 (Vol. 40, p.169 of the Ross County Deed Records). In the 1850 U.S. Census of Eden Town, Erie Co., NY, John “Heilbrown” age 35 was a farmer born in Germany with wife Phebe age 36 born Ohio. John Heilbronn died July 8, 1887, in Baltimore, Fairfield Co., OH. See article “John Heilbronn Coverlet Weaver” by Ron Walter in CCGA News 4th Quarter 2020, page 1.
