Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool, double cloth. Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed top, fringed bottom and sides. Central motif consists of medallions of four lilies surrounding a starburst. Small stars outline the medallions. The medallions are separated from one another by a diamond shaped motif that has a flower on the center. Borders have a tassel and swag motif with eagles. The eagles are carrying a shield on their chests and are located above the swag. Secondary borders on three sides contain a diamond lattice pattern.Collection
