Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and self-fringe on both sides and bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Red and green wool with undyed cotton. Floral medallion centerfield pattern; floral border on sides; double grapevine border on bottom connecting to four vine pots in the cornerblock. Unknown weaver, 1860.
